Product Design and Development

Our Services

Product Development - From requirements capture through concept development, detailed design and engineering, creation and management of documentation, construction of prototypes, supply chain development, design verification and homologation, transition to production, and sustaining engineering, Red Wolf Engineering has the experience, expertise, and discipline to bring your product to life.

Electrical/Electronic Hardware Design and Engineering - Whether it involves power, high voltage, analog, discrete logic, microcontroller/microprocessor, communications, or RF design, our team has the experience and tools to expertly engineer your electronic, electrical, or electro-mechanical device or system.

Mechanical Design and Engineering - We have what it takes to develop mechanical systems of all types including electronics packaging (especially for harsh environments), mechanisms, motion control, and other types of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices and systems.

Software - Our embedded software developers to give your electronic product the features and performance you require.  We also partner with a number of third parties which allows us to tap into specific domain expertise as needed.  We also develop GUI software for Windows.

Testing / Design Verification / Homologation - In addition to very thorough internal design verification testing, we will marshall your product through the gamut of certification (homologation) tests required to make it comply with regional, national, or industrial standards such as those for the EU (CE), North America (UL/CSA), or other industry-specific or military specifications.

Prototyping / Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Sustaining Engineering - As a design matures through the development process, we will build prototypes, develop sources for custom components, and help you turn up your own or a third party manufacturing partner as your needs dictate.  Throughout the product lifecycle, we will sustain the design to deal with obsolescense, quality and performance issues, or feature changes or additions.
